One particular case in Kelantan saw a man risking his life to return home by wading the rising floodwaters and battling the heavy rain, just so he could retrieve his beloved pet cats that were trapped in their cage.

Prior to the incident, he had fled his home as the waters were rising rapidly, and was forced to leave the cats behind as there were no means to transport them.
He was adamant to go back due to the fear of losing them, citing it was unbearable for him to see them starving and shivering.
Fortunately, he arrived just in time and was able to evacuate them, much to the relief of concerned viewers.
