The photo shows the staff member on all fours, cleaning the entire floor with nothing but wet wipes. Twitter user Nicholas Gomez recounted how he and his wife witnessed the incident first-hand last Tuesday (Dec. 21).
There were no gloves or safety hazard sign anywhere in sight. And, the poor staff member had to look up from the floor to reply to customers' enquiries.
The act -according to Gomez & fellow Twitter users- was simply demeaning to the staff member. It was alleged that the new hire was being bullied by senior staff as no other employees of the store has been seen doing this before.
Lovisa has yet to respond to the bullying allegations.
