According to Assistant Commissioner Mohamed Nordin Abdullah, the Manjung District Police Headquarters received a distress call from a concerned woman at 6:42 PM. yesterday. The woman, identified as the sister of the suspect, reported her brother's alleged involvement in the disturbing incident.

The victim, a 33-year-old woman, was swiftly taken to Seri Manjung Hospital for immediate medical attention. Tragically, the attending medical officer declared her deceased at 12:20 PM today. To ascertain the precise cause of death, a comprehensive post-mortem examination will be conducted tomorrow.


Preliminary investigations conducted thus far have shed light on the circumstances surrounding the incident. It appears that the suspect harbored dissatisfaction with the victim and her family, as they had accused him of involvement in drug-related activities. In a significant development, the authorities managed to apprehend the 28-year-old suspect at approximately 11 PM last night.
