In a concerning turn of events, a user on platform X @TheMossadIL has come under fire for uploading a video that misrepresents a class on managing janazah (Islamic burial rites for the deceased) at a local mosque in Malaysia. The video was falsely portrayed as Palestinians faking their deaths, amid the ongoing genocide in Gaza, Palestine. Such propaganda can be highly detrimental to the cause, given the already dire situation.
The incident unfolded when the user shared the video, mislabeling it to suggest that it occurred in Palestine during the current genocide. However, many vigilant Malaysians were quick to debunk this misleading information. They provided evidence confirming that the video, in fact, originated in Malaysia, not Palestine.

This misrepresentation is not only misleading but also contributes to the spread of false information, which can further exacerbate the already sensitive and distressing situation in Gaza. Malaysians have taken it upon themselves to set the record straight.
