Calling all Tifosi and Formula 1 fans – this ones for you! Whether you've always backed the red or recently jumped ship for Lewis Hamilton, Tifosi MY is here to give Ferrari fans in Malaysia a space to call their own.
Behind this exciting new movement are two passionate women: Nadia and Farah. For them, Formula 1 isn't just a sport it's a way of life.
The Faces Behind Tifosi MY: Meet Nadia
Nadia is the President of Tifosi MY. A self-proclaimed full-time Lewis Hamilton fangirl, she credits the seven-time world champion as the reason she first fell in love with Formula 1. "It's the speed, the drama, the chaos and of course, the GOAT himself," she shares.
Her ultimate F1 moment? Meeting Lewis Hamilton in person, an experience made possible by none other than Farah, her partner-in-crime and Vice President of Tifosi MY. Farah managed to book a private slot through Mercedes, giving Nadia the opportunity of a lifetime. "During our chat, Lewis spotted my 44 Ferrari phone case and gave a huge facepalm, Nadia recalls with a laugh. But the best part? I actually made him laugh multiple times!"
Meet Farah
Farah, equally obsessed with the sport, admits that Lewis was also her entry point into F1. "My mum used to give me Mercedes t-shirts every time they won the Constructors Championship", she says. Eventually, she just gave in and she has never looked back. Her proudest moment? Organizing a private meet with Lewis herself and even gifting him a Smiski a quirky, glow-in-the-dark figurine that sparked a light-hearted and genuine conversation with the F1 star.
Together, Nadia and Farah are not just fans they're building a community. Through Tifosi MY, they're creating a space for local Ferrari and F1 enthusiasts to connect, celebrate the culture, and share their collective passion for motorsports. From screaming 'Still I Rise' during Lewis final farewell in Malaysia to injecting Top Gun references in high-energy moments, their journey is driven by pure love for the sport.
Tifosi MY's Vision For Ferrari Fans In Malaysia
But beyond the fan moments, the real story here is the community they're building. Tifosi MY was initially set up under the name Scuderia Ferrari Malaysia and while the team is still working behind the scenes to get official recognition from Ferrari, they'll be operating under the name Tifosi MY in the meantime.
This name change is only temporary and wont affect the energy, events, or content fans can expect. In fact, the momentum is already picking up since announcing their plans, the duo received over 400 responses and sign-ups in less than 24 hours. Proof that Malaysias Ferrari fandom has been waiting for this moment.
Best part so far? The Tifosi MY crew behind the scenes is powered by an all-women team – Nadia, Farah Grace, Anjali, and Allie and how inspiring is that? Motorsport has long been seen as a male-dominated field, but these women are flipping the narrative, showing that not only do they belong in the space, they're here to lead and shape it too.
The All-Women Team Behind Tifosi MY: Meet Grace
A motorsport enthusiast since the Michael Schumacher era, Grace's passion for Formula 1 truly soared during Lewis Hamilton's rookie days. This love for the sport was ignited by her late mum, a massive Ferrari fan. Her dad, a true gearhead, also played a key role, sharing his knowledge about cars and fuelling her passion even further. From learning to drive stick to taking drifting and racing lessons, Grace's motorsport journey has been a natural evolution. Watching Fast & Furious and Initial D only fanned the flames of her excitement. "Joining Tifosi MY is a dream come true, and I'm beyond thrilled to help Nadia and Farah build this community," she said. "Being part of the F1 community as a woman is challenging because it's a male-driven field, but I'm truly blessed to have male friends who are supportive of everything I do and they give me the drive to love this sport even more."
Meet Anjali
For Anjali, Formula 1 began as a cherished tradition with her father. From childhood, she was taken to various races from A1 to Le Mans but it was F1 that truly captivated her. While her interest in the sport remained casual for years, it wasn't until around 2018 and 2019 that her passion deepened. The turning point came during the pandemic lockdowns, when she began following the season more closely, immersing herself in the world of F1 and learning the ins and outs of the sport. "The adrenaline of watching the races, the energy of the fan base online, and just how vibrant the F1 community is it gave me so much joy," she shared. "Now, I look forward to race weekends. It gives me something to be excited about." Though some around her might label it an obsession, she sees it differently. For her, F1 has become a beautiful and exhilarating part of who she is.
Meet Allie
As for Allie, Formula 1 became a natural passion. Growing up in a family deeply invested in motorsports and surrounded by friends who followed the sport religiously, it was only a matter of time before she got into it herself. Her journey began with the 24 Hours of Le Mans, but Formula 1 soon took center stage. It wasn't just the thrill of the race that captivated her it was the energy of the F1 community that sealed the deal. "The passion, the debates, the shared excitement it makes you feel like you're part of something much bigger", she explained. "I didn't just jump on the hype, I embraced it completely."
