According to Forbes 2025 list of the 50 richest Malaysians, new names have entered the top 10 this year, including a former police officer and a minimart magnate.
Despite new entries, the top rank remained unchanged; Sugar King Robert Kuok (age 101) with a net worth of US$11.4 billion. List as follows.

2. Quek Leng Chan US$9.8 billion
3. Teh siblings US$5.9 billion
4. Koon Poh Keong & siblings US$5.4 billion
5. Krishnan family US$5.3 billion
6. Lee Yeow Chor & Yeow Seng US$5.2 billion
7. Francis Yeoh & siblings US$3.6 billion
8. Lee Thiam Wah US$3.5 billion
9. Jeffrey Cheah US$3 billion
10. Chia Song Kun US$2.3 billion
To make the list, you would now need to have a minimum wealth of US$335 million. This figure is an up from last year's US$320 million.
The combined net worth of the 50 richest Malaysians grew to US$90 billion, thanks to a stronger ringgit despite a stagnant stock index and global economic headwinds.
