Last night, a young boy from Kuala Lumpur had a distressing experience as his right leg got trapped in a toilet drain at his home in Balakong. The incident lasted for nearly an hour, causing the boy significant discomfort.
Ahmad Mukhlis Mukhtar, the Assistant Director of Operations for the Selangor Fire and Rescue Department (JBPM), shared that they received an urgent distress call regarding the incident at 8:36 PM yesterday.

Responding swiftly, a team comprising five JBPM personnel and a firetruck from the Bandar Tun Hussein Onn Fire and Rescue Station hurried to the location. Upon their arrival, they were confronted with a dire situation: a nine-year-old boy had his right leg stuck in the toilet drain.
"In a statement released today, Ahmad Mukhlis reported that the firefighters successfully freed the young boy at precisely 9:11 pm," he announced.

Following the meticulously executed rescue operation that took more than half an hour, the victim was handed over to his family for any necessary follow-up care and attention.
