Tiny, Overpriced Room In Shah Alam With A "Balcony" Advertised For RM600 A Month

Some notorious landlords in Malaysia are known to maximise their profit at the expense of their tenants. Coming across rent advertisements online promoting tiny rooms with exorbitant pricing is unfortunately quite common.

Take this one for example. An advertisement of what appears to be a tiny living room in Shah Alam, divided into a smaller room; overlooking a balcony that can barely fit a grown human has been posted online.

That photo, originally uploaded by a Twitter user @asyrafrosli_, quickly garnered reactions online. Labelled "Balcony room", netizens find it unbelievable how far these landlords would go in the name of profit. Especially looking at the size of the room, netizens assert that it is not worth the RM600 that this particular landlord is asking for.
