As reported by China Press, up till yesterday (April 14) at 12 pm, Muar, Johor has been declared as a red zone for COVID-19, thus making the total number of COVID-19 red zones in Malaysia, 27.
Based on the map of areas infected by COVID-19 in Malaysia by The Ministry of Health (MoH), Muar has accumulated a total of 44 COVID-19 confirmed cases. It was learned that the number of green zones in Malaysia remained the same, which is 28 areas.
According to the statistic, Lembah Pantai, Kuala Lumpur has the highest number of COVID-19 cases (572 cases), followed by Hulu Langat District (433 cases) and Petaling District (359 cases).

Other than that, it has also mentioned the orange areas, which are at risk of becoming a red zone, these areas are:
1. Kulai, Johor- 38 cases
2. Kuala Dungun, Terengganu- 37 cases
3. Central Seberang Perai, Penang- 40 cases
4. Kota Kinabalu, Sabah- 40 cases
5. Lahad Datu, Sabah- 39 cases
According to MoH:
(A) green zone= 0 case
(B) yellow zone= 1-20 cases
(C) orange zone = 21-40 cases
(D) red zone= 41 cases and above
