In the midst of this pandemic, more and more companies are facing financial struggles which will eventually lead to laying off employees.
However, for the case of NVIDIA, their CEO Jensen Huang had informed the employees that they will not be laying off anyone despite the pandemic.
In fact, they are planning to give raises to their employees much earlier than they had planned before.

According to the CEO, the pandemic had lead to the rise in urgent needs for their products.
"Stay-at-home is driving PC sales. Remote design and collaboration technologies are needed," he said.
He also added that gaming is now replacing other entertainment and this shift from physical to digital will further accelerate cloud computing use.
There is also an increase in the interest in robotics for retail, warehouse logistics, and cleaning.
Huang highlighted the efforts Nvidia is making to fight the coronavirus, including the company's new membership in The White House's COVID-19 High-Performance Computing Consortium.
The company has also donated free licenses of its Parabricks genomics processing software to researchers at 575 sites across 88 countries to aid with drug discovery.
