Planning a wedding is always stressful, and things may get even more difficult when the parties involved are not well... cooperative.
This future bride sent a confession anonymously online about her future partner's family that demands a grand wedding NOT from their own pocket. According to her, her parents have agreed to sponsor her wedding since, both her and her future partner had agreed on having a small wedding that follows a fixed budget. The bride's parents even went as far as not demanding a dowry just to make everything easy for the couple.

However, now that the groom's family knows the bride's parents are taking care of all the expenses, they decided to go overboard by wanting a wedding almost triple the initial budget. The bride also mentioned that the groom's family is not planning to chip in either.
The reason they want a grand wedding is to compete with a family friend who just had quite an extravagant wedding, she said.
