Malaysian citizen Nurul Ain Haron has recently uploaded a short video on her personal Facebook account documenting the harsh realities of life in Gaza amidst the ongoing conflict. Nurul and and her husband arrived in Gaza on October 1st with plans to leave for the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on October 26th. However, their departure has been postponed due to the escalating violence in the region.
Nurul Ain's poignant video footage provides a glimpse into the challenging conditions that the people of Gaza are facing. She revealed that they had just survived an attack the previous night, highlighting the constant danger that engulfs the area. Gaza, already grappling with the repercussions of a long-standing conflict, is now experiencing a complete blockade of water and electricity. The residents are forced to rely on car batteries to provide them with essential power.

The situation in Gaza has grown dire, pushing many Gazans to flee to schools, friends' houses, and family members' residences in a desperate bid to escape the attacks, according to Nurul Ain.
Meanwhile reports confirmed that the Malaysian embassy has stepped in to assist Nurul Ain and her husband in their efforts to leave Gaza and ensure their safety.
To date, the aggression is currently still ongoing since a week ago. Gaza officials reported that Israeli strikes on the Palestinian enclave resulted in the deaths of over 1,500 people and injuries to more than 6,600.
