In the blink of an eye, unforeseen events, particularly those of an emergency, can quickly unfold. Recently, a doctor recounted an incident where he assisted in delivering a baby in a trailer lorry by the highway. According to @alepzaki's narrative, the event transpired at East Coast Highway (LPT) KM 121 en route to Kuantan. Given the limited information about the mother, the doctor admitted to feeling anxious upon receiving the emergency call.

Pengalaman perkhidmatan.
Dapat panggilan ada kes nak bersalin dalam lori, lokasi LPT KM 121 hala Kuantan. Maklumat pasal ibu minimum. Sepanjang persiapan di klinik, 2-3 kali senarai semak barang-barang kerana expect the worst. pic.twitter.com/5nuQ5rBUsa
Scaling the trailer lorry, akin to the size of Optimus Prime, the doctor encountered two figures lying down. The mother had her eyes closed with a small body between her legs, prompting an accelerated heartbeat. Addressing the mother, the doctor urged, "Ma'am, can you hear me? Open your eyes." Reassuringly, the mother complied, responding, "Yes, I hear you," relieving the tension.
Mata beralih ke si anak pula, nampak tak bergerak. Alamak. Aku pegang kaki bayi, jentik tapak kaki, keluar suara kecil menangis. Hati kembali lega, peluh jantan tak jadi keluar. pic.twitter.com/qTgicOCQBR

As the situation intensified with the seemingly lifeless baby, the doctor's attempt to stimulate and touch the baby's feet elicited a small cry, bringing relief to the rescue team. Upon completing the rescue mission, the team undertook the necessary clean-up and followed their standard post-delivery procedures before transferring the mother to Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Hospital in Temerloh.
