Happened on yesterday (March 30), a staff of Gardenia posted on his social media, claiming that one of the Gardenia's lorries with the number plate of BKK 3140 was hijacked in Kuala Lumpur area. The staff too mentioned that the stocks in that lorry were supposed to be sent to 15 outlets to restock.
It was reported in China Press that Gardenia has filed a report and would request authorities who are on duty at the roadblocks to keep an eye on the stolen lorry.
New updates from Malay Mail that the hijacked lorry has been found in Terengganu. The bread stock remained intact. Odd that the offender stole the lorry but not the bread, leaving the lorry near Kampung Neris Meraga Mosque in Kijal, Kemaman. The case will be investigated under Section 379(a) of the Penal Code for car theft.
