The police arrested a gigolo and his two female accomplices for engaging in sexual crimes. The man recorded and sold explicit videos involving himself and over 20 women, including those who paid for his services.
Police found that he sold these videos to over 2,600 local subscribers, charging fees ranging from RM20 to RM100. The suspect earned around RM120,000 in the last six months. The 31-year-old suspect, who started selling these explicit videos on social media in July, was apprehended at his residence in Janda Baik, Pahang, at 2:30 pm yesterday.
Two female accomplices, aged 23 and 27, were also arrested for their involvement in selling explicit sexual videos. The police confirmed that the suspect's father resided with him. The primary suspect, who had been married and divorced twice, began selling sexual enhancement drugs from China on social media early last year.
To maximise profits, he learned to record explicit videos with his female companions, selling them on three social media channels since July of last year. The female companions, suspected to have a gigolo background, participated in these videos, and the suspect recorded his sexual encounters with a group of women he knew through social media.
Customers paid to watch these video clips, and the suspect would send links for viewing the recorded explicit content. Currently, the suspect and his two female accomplices are in custody for five days as ordered by the Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court.
This is the first case detected in the country, and the police issued a warning about cracking down on such immoral activities on a large scale to prevent the erosion of morality in society.
