Mr CHEESECAKE is a cheesecake shop in Tokyo, which is famous for its delicious and hot-selling cheesecakes.
The owner of Mr CHEESECAKE had joined the highlighted #stayhomechallenge in Japan during the pandemic, and generously disclosed the cheesecake recipe on Instagram, allowing everyone to try making the famous cheesecake at home.
Ingredients: 200g Cheese, 100g caster sugar, 180g sour cream, 50g plain yoghurt, 100g of cream, 50g white chocolate, 2 eggs, 9g lemon juice, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, 20g corn starch
Steps:
1. Stir and mix the cheese and granulated sugar. Then, heat them over water until they melt and become creamy. Set aside for later use.
2. Mix the sour cream and yoghurt in another container. Beat and add in two eggs and mix well.
3. Add lemon juice and corn starch to the eggs and mix well. Heat the cream in a microwave oven, or pour it into a pot and heat it over medium-low heat.
4. Add the white chocolate and stir until melted.
5. Add vanilla extract to the white chocolate and mix well.
6. Pour the white chocolate liquid into the cheese. Mix gently and set aside. Sieve and pour it into the grill to make them taste smoother and more delicious.
7. Put the cheese batter into a cake mold, then put the mold in a larger baking pan. Fill the baking pan with hot water (at least 2-3 cm high).
8. Bake at 180 degrees for 25 minutes, and then bake at 150 degrees for 20 minutes.
8. Take the cake out of the oven. Let it cool, and put it in the refrigerator for 4 hours. Enjoy!
