In a heartwarming display of love and dedication, a father in Thailand went above and beyond to make sure his daughter didn't feel left out on the country's Mother's Day celebration.
As Thailand celebrated Mother's Day on August 12th, Ban Noen Kroi School organized a special event for students and their mothers. For Cream, a third-grade student who was raised by her single father, the event posed a unique challenge. The seat reserved for her mother seemed destined to remain empty.

However, Cream's father, Joe Lookphonbodee, was determined to ensure that his daughter didn't feel excluded. Without hesitation, he donned a wig and a dress and attended the event as Cream's mother figure.
Joe Lookphonbodee, a 48-year-old Physical Education and Health Education teacher at the same school where his daughter studies, is affectionately known as Mr. Pratya or Teacher Joe by his students.
"When the school organizes Mother's Day activities, I don't want my child to have an inferiority complex... Personally, I'm not ashamed because I love my child," Joe told Bangkok Biz News.
He emphasized that he sees Cream as his "real child" and wanted to make sure she felt loved and included.
Capturing the touching moment, the proud father shared the experience on social media, captioning the TikTok video with a playful remark: "I can be Mother for you hahaha."

In the heartwarming video, Cream paid her respects to her father, just like her classmates did with their mothers. She then surprised Lookphonbodee with a warm bear hug, unable to contain her joy.
Cream found her father's gesture incredibly endearing, describing him as "beautiful and cute." She expressed that she felt no embarrassment about her dad's attire.
