During an official gathering as part of their Kembara Kenali Borneo road trip, Malaysia's Yang di-Pertuan Agong (YDPA) Agung and his son, Tengku Muhammad Iskandar, took an endearing detour into Sabah's rich cultural heritage by trying their hand (and feet) at the traditional dance known as Tarian Magunatip.
Tarian Magunatip is a vibrant Sabah cultural dance that involves rhythmic movements over bamboo stalks, creating a spectacle of sound and agility. The dance, which requires precision and coordination, has been a cherished part of Sabah's cultural tapestry for generations.
In a lighthearted and cheeky attempt at the dance, YDPA Agung and Tengku Muhammad Iskandar joined in, eliciting laughter and applause from those present at the event. Their spirited participation and charming enthusiasm added a heartwarming touch to the occasion, as attendees watched the father and son duo embrace the dance with open hearts.
