Before we get in to in, let me clarify something, PUBIC HAIR IS NATURAL. It is your choice what you want to do with it, if you want to leave it then let it do its thang! If you want to remove it, then choose whatever way is easiest and most comfortable for you. It doesn’t matter what you do with it! It is completely your choice!
What we would like to do here is provide you with the safe and healthy way to shave your pubic hair, if that is what you’d like to do.
Here's how to do it:
1. Trim it!
The shorter, the better to shave! Just use a small pair of scissors or a hair trimmer and cut until it's about a quarter of an inch long.
2. Exfoliate!
When shaving or waxing, it opens up the hair follicle on your skin, exposing it to bacteria, making it easy to cause an infection. An exfoliant will remove dead skin and help to prevent ingrown hairs. Use it on the outer area only, not the vagina!
3. Use Shaving Cream!
Choose a simple shaving cream for sensitive skin and dab it all over your pubic area. Make sure your skin is damp when applying the shaving cream, not wet!
4. Shave!
Use a sharp shaving blade, or a brand new one. Then, pull your skin taut and shave downward, in the direction that the hair is growing.
Don’t shave in multiple directions: it can cause cuts and serious ingrown hairs.
After the first shave, then only can you shave against the way the hair is growing like sideways or upwards.
6. Moisturize!
After you're done shaving and you've rinsed away the excess cream, moisturize with a fragrance-free lotion.
