TRUE LOVE EXIST! Man Marries The Love Of His Life As She Lay On Her Deathbed in The Hospital
If you need a sign that love is real, here's your sign! Recently, a TikTok video by a user named Baskoro Wicaksono (username:
@baskoro_wicaksono) shared videos on his page about his love story that came to a very heartbreaking end.
Baskoro Wicaksono shared in one of his videos that after getting married to the love of his life, Anggun Prima Persadasari as she lay ill in a hospital bed, she sadly succumbed to her illness over a week later.
The TikTok video, that now has over 14 million views and 1.7 million likes, shows the solemnization ceremony between the couple that took place in the hospital on the floor at the edge of Anggun's bed. After his ceremonial duties were performed, he planted a kiss on her forehead as she reached for his hand and kissed it.
The video then cuts to him holding her hand with a wedding ring on her ring finger. But then the video takes a sad turn as it then shows her grave. He captioned the video by saying "Till we meet again in the afterlife. I'll tell you about my journey on Earth without you."
According to
The Asian Parent and
Indozone, they initially planned on getting married in July but after Aggun got diagnosed with lupus and later contracted ileus, they decided to get hitched earlier on the 2nd of April 2022 as her health was rapidly deteriorating. For those who are unaware, lupus is an autoimmune disease occurs when your body's immune system attacks your own tissues and organs while ileus is a temporary lack of the normal muscle contractions of the intestines.
Sadly, 9 days after their wedding, Anggun's condition had worsened to the point where her body could not take it and she passed away.
Baskoro Wicaksono also shared some other videos featuring clips of Anggun, a short video of him and Anggun sitting down next to each other and even a short video of him at work with captions related to Anggun's passing.
Rest in peace, Anggun Prima Persadasari. And to Baskoro Wicaksono, thank you for showing us that true love still exists and we hope you heal.
