It's a well-known truth that daughters often share a special bond with their fathers. This was vividly illustrated in a viral video where a young girl appeared upset and despondent, confiding in her father.

In the video shared by Amal Hayati, the young girl, visibly sulking and disheartened, poured her heart out to her attentive father. The caption accompanying the video suggested that despite her apparent distress, the cause remained unknown despite repeated inquiries.

"At this moment, my daughter is sulking, feeling upset about something... despite my persistent questioning, she refuses to speak up. It's only when I called her father that she finally opened up," Amal Hayati explained.

Amal Hayati, the mother of the girl in question, disclosed that her eldest daughter was feeling hurt because she wasn't treated equally to her younger sibling in terms of receiving hair accessories.

The 40-year-old mother initially attempted to inquire about the issue upon noticing her daughter, Nur Amal Batrisya, looking glum. However, the 11-year-old was reluctant to share her feelings.

"She was feeling a bit hurt, sulking... I, as her mother, tried to ask, but she wouldn't open up. So I summoned her father to intervene, and only then did she feel comfortable enough to share her problem," she said.

According to Amal Hayati, the video was captured during a family gathering while attending a tahlil ceremony and her relative's child's birthday celebration.

"My sister was holding a tahlil ceremony and celebrating her child's birthday, which happened to fall on the same day as my second child's birthday... so we celebrated together.

"As usual, I bought gifts for all the children... I bought them matching clothes and accessories. However, the hair accessories like hair clips and headbands were only bought for her younger sister because she doesn't wear a headscarf.

"Perhaps at that moment, she felt embarrassed to confide in me, so I asked her father to talk to her instead. After it was explained to her, she understood and returned to her usual self," she added, acknowledging her mistake.

Amal Hayati, who hails from Gemas, Negeri Sembilan, also revealed that all her children have a close relationship with their father since they were young.
