A loose escalator handrail believed to be at the MRT Muzium Negara has shocked some commuters.
A netizen Zulfadhli (@zulfadhlizahir) posted videos and a picture showing the rubber covering lifting off the handrail while the escalator was in use.
A few of the commuters using the escalator could be seen looking at the faulty handrail worriedly.

MRT and Rapid KL have reached out to Zulfadhli and thanked him for alerting them about the issue.
They have forwarded the matter to the respective operator to fix the issue.
Netizens found the situation both comical and sad. One of the netizens said the MRT was opened in 2017 but felt like it had been running since 1917 due to its facilities.
