An overweight couple under the username @syakirbelon4.0 uploaded a series of TikTok videos promoting plus size wedding couture for a local brand. What should have been a normal promotional content has now been tainted with fatphobic comments left by rude viewers. The comments under these videos were found to be extremely appalling, to say the least.
Many users left disgusting sexual innuendoes targeting their size, and some of the concerned netizens had to reprimand these commenters, telling them off. Nonetheless, the snarky remarks kept coming.

It is rather regretful to see Malaysians behaving like this on social media where kindness seems to be scarce. Always remember to practice caution when scrolling social media and if you ever find the urge to leave a nasty remark online, refrain.
