If you've seen the Thai Hot Guy ads posted by a local club called Privacy Tun Razak, you might want to refrain from getting excited.
The crazed chiselled waiters phenomenon originating from a restaurant in Thailand has finally reached its waves in Malaysia. However, it seems like it's not going to happen after all.
Since the event announcement went viral, it has received heated response from PAS and UMNO who are insisting for the event to be shut down.
In a recent development as reported by The Vibes, the Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKU) seems to be putting pressure against them as well, after it was revealed that the venue's proprietors did not have an entertainment licence and, on top of that, an expired restaurant licence.
It also appears that they have removed all promotional posts for the event off of their official Facebook page as well.
The event was initially scheduled to commence this 30th March, and has since been cancelled.
