One of the biggest MCU films is coming in less than a month, and to say everyone is psyched, would be an understatement.
Yesterday (Nov 17), the latest installment of the Spider-man series, 'SPIDER-MAN: NO WAY HOME', dropped its (now over 12 million views) official trailer, and the first thing anyone who watched it did, was look out for crossover signs.
Since the announcement of the upcoming movie being the finale to the Spider-man trilogy, fans have very much been manifesting both Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield (the two other Spider-men), to make an appearance in the film.
Ample of theories and fan-made videos/images have surfaced since, so we took the liberty of rallying up the 4 possible hints from the trailer, why people are convinced a crossover is upon us.
#1 Ghosts of Spider-men Past
In the trailer, not only do we see one villain from previous Spider-man installments, but there are numerous who come looking for the hero. Coincidence? We think not.
#2 "You're not Peter Parker"
One of the biggest tells of a possible crossover is the first thing Dr. Octavius says when he sees Tom Holland. "You're not Peter Parker", is literally adding, 'at least not the one I brawled with', silently behind it.
#3 Cinematic Parallels
I think I've And I didn't

MJ falling off a high rise building, and Peter trying to catch her? 'We think we've seen this film before, and we didn't like the ending'.
#4 Who is 'starting to come through'?
As the trailer draws to an end, we watch Doctor Strange saying "They are starting to come through, and I can't stop stop them". Who is this 'they' referred to? The villains, or...
Are the theories right? Could they be wishful thinking? I guess we'll find out December 17th.
