Member of the boy band Astro and K-pop artist Moonbin passed away on Thursday at the age of 25, confirmed to his record label Fantagio.
"On April 19th, Astro member Moon Bin unexpectedly left us and became a star in the sky," according to a message published in hangul early on Thursday via Fantagio's official Twitter page.

Moonbin was reportedly discovered unresponsive at his residence in Seoul's upscale Gangnam district on Wednesday night, according to the local media.
He was a member of the popular group ASTRO and prior to his passing, Moonbin was scheduled to perform as a member of the ASTRO group Moonbin&Sanha at the upcoming Dream Concert.
Concerned fans are urged not to speculate his cause of death as a sign of respect to his family and loved ones.
