Entrepreneur and food content creator Khairul Aming has cleared the air regarding a recent tweet on Dendeng Nyet.
The said post- which showed a supermarket in Sarawak- was slammed by netizens for pricing the product at a staggering RM39.90 a piece, almost three times the original price.
Dendeng Nyet Berapi is being sold for RM39.90 at a supermarket in Sarawak.

I know shipping is expensive but RM39.90 is nearly x3 the online price (RM14.99)
I want to support you @khairulaming but its just too expensive. I hope you can adjust your cost & lower the price, tq! pic.twitter.com/nKrIW7xwBu
KA was quick to clarify the issue, noting that his products are only sold on TikTok and Shopee.
Please buy from our online store https://t.co/c6k0qQDOgf

Not only that, the supermarket was also seen using a rack display bearing Sambal Nyet logo, which KA firmly denied it was printed by him.
Following the controversy, it’s advisable for consumers to shop via the above e-commerce platforms only as KA doesn’t have physical affiliates nor partnership with stores.
