KL: Man Found Dead in Car at Hospital Parking Lot

Yesterday (9th March) at about 3.07pm, a man was found dead in his car at the Selayang Hospital parking lot. 

Based on reports, the authorities received an emergency call around that time from a friend, who found the 43-year-old in a Proton Saga. 

"Early investigations noted that the victim left his house for the hospital at 10am last Friday (4th March) to receive his treatments, and did not return home", said Gombak District Chief of Police, Zainal Mohamed.

After speaking to the victim's family, he noted that the victim had been suffering from diabetes, high blood pressure, and had been receiving treatments at Selayang hospital for over 6 years. 

"The fire department helped with opening the door of the locked vehicle in order to remove the body. His personal items like his wallet and cellphone were still on his person when the body was found. The car he was in was also registered under his name", said Zainal.

According to the police, no foul play was detected with the case, the victim was taken to forensics, and his passing classified as sudden death.

Authorities have also requested no speculations be made and that should anyone have further information regarding the case, to come forward.
