A M'sian software engineer, Loh Seow Hwa, is desperately seeking assistance to locate his wife, Lee Je Siang, who went missing after purportedly going abroad on Dec 28th of last year. The couple resides in Bandar Puchong, Selangor, and Lee, who works as a volunteer, left for personal matters in Taiwan.
According to Loh, Lee was scheduled to return to Malaysia on Jan 7th. However, she failed to arrive at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) as planned, and all attempts to contact her have been unsuccessful since Jan 3rd.
Loh discovered his wife's disappearance after checking her WhatsApp last seen status, which was last active on Jan 4. Concerned, he contacted friends and their child's caregiver, learning that Lee had sent money as childcare payment from Laos.
Confused and worried about her sudden change of location, Loh is concerned that Lee may have been abducted, especially since her mobile phone is unreachable. He has filed a report at the Serdang district police headquarters and informed the Malaysian embassy in Laos about the situation.
