Among those arrested were an assistant health officer and a female student, according to the Sarawak Police Commissioner Datuk Aidi Ismail.
"We've arrested nine men and five women in total. We've also seized 14.57 grams of Ketamine, 14 Ecstasy pills, and five Eramin pills in the raid," he said in a statement today. The urine test screening reveals that all the suspects were tested positive for methamphetamine and amphetamine.
"All suspects have been remanded until November 8th to assist in the investigation in accordance with Section 39A (1), Section 12 (2), and Section 15 (1) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952," Ismail added.
It is indeed such a shame that the authorities we've entrusted to keep public peace in check turned out to be the one causing the lack of it.
