Did he or didn't he? Anne Hathaway was recently served with a rather juicy question during her sit-down on the Watch What Happens Live! show, where she finally debunked the years-long "Nate theory" from The Devil Wears Prada.
Ever since the cult movie's release in 2006, fans have long debated on whether her character's boyfriend, Nate Cooper, was the true villain instead of icy editor Miranda Priestly.
And while it didn't take host Andy Cohen that long to express his agreement on the theory, Hathaway's response was quite the opposite. Her verdict: No, he wasn't!
"I think that they were both very young and figuring things out. And he did behave like a brat, but I also behaved like a brat in my 20s. I hopefully grew out of it, and I think that's what we all do. I wouldn't want to be defined by my worst moment in my 20s certainly. So I don't hold Nate as a villain actually."
Now that's what we call a classy response!
