An official Zus Coffee Twitter account recently found itself addressing a sour interaction involving an imposter account that had been misleading customers. The incident began when a customer reached out to Zus Coffee on Twitter regarding an issue with a free voucher that hadn't been processed correctly, resulting in double charges. However, an account impersonating Zus Coffee responded to the customer's tweet, further complicating matters.
The impersonator account asked the customer which branch they were referring to, attempting to appear legitimate. To the dismay of everyone involved, the imposter's reply took a disturbing and offensive turn. They callously stated, "ooo hope you got beaten by rappers." This shocking response left the customer understandably frustrated and concerned about the authenticity of the account they had interacted with.
The official Zus Coffee Twitter account, determined to rectify the situation promptly, intervened by posting a screenshot of the interaction in question. Alongside the screenshot, they clarified in no uncertain terms that the impersonator account did not represent the true values and intentions of Zus Coffee. The official account tweeted, "Just letting y'all know that this is not us! We love our ZUSsies, and we will never wish for any of you to get beaten by anyone."
