The touching tale unfolded through a TikTok video shared by Nor Asiah Kamis, quickly amassing over 2.2 million views at the time of writing. An elderly woman visited her electronics store in search of a laptop that would fit her budget.

With humility and sincerity, she addressed Asiah, saying, "Assalamualaikum. I want to find a laptop for my child. People told me it's available here, so I came to see the prices. If possible, I want to buy it in cash. I was thinking of giving away my gold bracelet; my husband bought it for our wedding anniversary. It's dear to me. But he (the child) is what matters. He wants to study. We'll sacrifice. I just want to ask, can it be done?"

Asiah could be heard in the background, offering a gadget purchase plan that would spare the mother from parting with her beloved gold bracelet.

Moved by the situation, the mother revealed her budget, explaining, "I have a budget of around RM200 per month. I am the sole breadwinner, and my husband is unwell." 

After a heartfelt discussion of her financial situation, Asiah suggested a solution: a brand-new Acer laptop priced at RM2,000, with a manageable monthly installment of RM200 for ten months.

The story didn't end there. Compassionate netizens expressed their sympathy and offered assistance to alleviate the mother's burden. Responding to a concerned netizen's inquiry, Nor Asiah shared the heartening news that a generous individual had stepped forward to provide a laptop for the woman's child.
