Nothing is more frustrating than being stuck at a toll booth due to insufficient funds in your Touch n Go eWallet. Fortunately, TNG Digital has introduced a new feature called SOS Balance to help drivers avoid this stressful situation.

The SOS Balance feature acts as a temporary relief by covering your toll payment when your eWallet balance is low. However, there are a few important details you should know before relying on this feature.

Key Conditions for Using SOS Balance

Limited to Specific Tolls:  The SOS Balance can only be used at toll booths that support RFID and PayDirect. If the toll plaza does not support these payment methods, the feature will not be available.

24-Hour Grace Period: Once activated, you have a 24-hour window to clear the outstanding toll payments. During this period, you can continue using tolls, but failure to settle the amount within the timeframe will result in the suspension of all payment-related functions in your Touch n Go eWallet, including SOS Balance itself.

Eligibility Criteria:  Not all users can access the SOS Balance feature. To qualify, users must:

Settle all outstanding payments promptly

Frequently top up their eWallet

Actively use their eWallet for various transactions

If you often rely on Touch n Go eWallet for toll payments, ensuring that you meet these criteria can help you take advantage of the SOS Balance feature when needed. For further details, including a list of eligible toll plazas, visit the official Touch n Go eWallet website.
