Oriental Daily reported that the Minister of Defence, Dato' Sri Ismail Sabri bin Yaakob announced today (April 25) that the government will be arranging for college students to return to their hometown in stages on Monday (April 27).
He emphasized that students are allowed to under the condition that their hometowns are GREEN zones. The time for them to return will be from 9 pm until 9 am. This is to avoid traffic congestion.

He also mentioned that these students will be going back by buses that were prepared beforehand. They will be getting off the bus at the police station of its districts and escort home by local government officials or frontline personnel.
He further disclosed that this decision is made after listening to the report from the Ministry of Higher Education on the arrangement of students returning home. Not forgetting to mention that students from East Malaysia too can fly back to Sabah and Sarawak, but according to the regulations of the two states, these students will have to be quarantined for 14 days after returning.
