One of Japan's largest supermarket chain - Don Don Donki (Donki for short) - has officially opened its first store in Malaysia on the 19th of March (Friday)! Naturally, the opening has attracted much enthusiasm from the public.

The first Donki store is located in Lot 10 Shopping Centre, Kuala Lumpur. There are a total of 3 floors selling original Japanese fresh foods, snacks, daily necessities, beauty products and more. This has incited many memories of our travels and holidays in Japan, but the good news is we no longer need purchasing agents to get authentic Japanese products anymore!

Remember when we said it attracted much enthusiasm from the public? That's an understatement judging by the queue on the first day. People have been queueing since early in the morning and the queue reported went all the way from the 3rd floor to the 1st floor to the outside of the shopping mall! See for yourself:
