Hailey Bieber finally spoke up about the allegations that led to Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez's split after four years of silence.

Hailey was previously accused of causing Justin and Selena's relationship to break apart before the couple called it quits after eight years of dating on a podcast with Alex Cooper on Wednesday.

The model stated that it was time for her to respond to all of the accusations levelled against her.

"A lot of the hate and the perpetuation comes from like, 'Oh, you stole [Justin],'" Hailey said of her critics. "And I guess maybe that just comes from the fact that they wished he had ended up with somebody else. And that's fine. You can wish that all you want but that's just not the case."'

When Alex questioned Hailey if she was in a relationship with Justin when he was still dating Selena, she denied it.

"It's not my character to interfere with other people's relationships, I won't do that."

"I was brought up with better moral values ​​than what is said about me. I am not interested in ruining people's relationships and have never done that.

Following the wedding, fans accused Hailey of being the detriment to Justin and Selena's eight-year romance.

However, the couple's relationship was frequently rocky as they declared their separation multiple times before reconciling until they chose to split up in 2018.

Hailey said in regard to Selena, "She doesn't owe me anything. Neither of us owes anybody anything except respect. I respect her a lot and I think there's just no expectations."

During the podcast, she explained that he was never in a relationship with anybody when they began hooking up. "I can say period point blank I was never with him when he was in a relationship with anybody. That's the end of it."
