Perikatan Nasional will serve as a check and balance in Parliament, he added. He also vowed that his party will continue to fight for the welfare of the populace and the prosperity of the nation.

Prior to that, PAS has also congratulated Anwar Ibrahim for his appointment as PM, expressed confidence in his capacity to lead.

For the benefit of the nation, Umno, Gabungan Parti Sarawak, and Gabungan Rakyat Sabah have all pledged their support for working with the Anwar-led administration as well.
