A viral video capturing an accident and altercation between two motorcyclists on Cheras Perdana Main Road, Kajang, has prompted a police investigation.
Kajang District Police Chief, Assistant Commissioner Mohd Zaid Hassan, revealed that the Kajang District Police Headquarters received a report related to the dashboard camera footage involving the motorcyclists at 12:09 noon yesterday.
The incident is believed to have transpired last Friday at 11:25 AM. It involved one motorcycle suddenly emerging from a junction, causing another motorcycle, ridden by a shirtless individual, to lose control and collide with the first bike.
"The shirtless motorcycle rider immediately began assaulting the other motorcycle rider using his hands and legs," stated Mohd Zaid.
The entire incident was captured by a dashboard camera and subsequently uploaded, gaining traction on the messaging platform Telegram.

As of now, the police have not received any official reports concerning the accident or the altercation from the individuals involved. However, the case is actively under investigation. It falls under the purview of Section 279 of the Penal Code, which deals with reckless driving or riding on a public way, and Section 323 of the Penal Code, which addresses voluntarily causing hurt.
