Michelle Yeoh Bagged Her First Ever Golden Globe Award After Starting Her Career 40 Years Ago

Malaysian-born Hollywood actress Michelle Yeoh has just won her first ever Golden Globes Award for her role in the critically acclaimed film Everything Everywhere At Once, making her the second Asian performer in history to win the award.

Recently, Michelle Yeoh has also been awarded Best Actress at the National Board of Review Awards just days prior to her Golden Globes win. What a milestone! 


Who is Michelle Yeoh?

After winning the Miss Malaysia contest back in 1983 at the age of 20, Michelle Yeoh's career began to sky rocket to new highs. Her appearance caught the attention of  Hong Kong film production company, D&B Films and safe to say, the rest is history.

She is best known for her role in a plethora of iconic productions, such as  Memoirs of a Geisha,  The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor,  Star Trek: Discovery,  Crazy Rich Asians, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings and many, many more. 


We have a feeling 2023 is gonna be her year!
