Karma hit instantly when this snatch thief who stole an Indonesian woman’s handbag at Taman Bukit Permata, Selayang got hit by a car while attempting to flee the scene yesterday, 16 February.
This incident went viral after a Facebook page, namely Ustaz Hanafi posted 3 short videos and 2 photos of the incident. 3 short videos featured the snatch thief sitting on the roadside with his leg bleeding.
Apparently, this thief tried to run away on his bike after snatching the victim’s bag by riding against the traffic. Thus, causing a car from the opposite lane to bang him. He then fell off his bike and broke his leg.
The post was captioned, ‘snatch incident in Sri Gombak. The thief broke his leg. Pity him, may Allah guide him in his way.’ This posting has governed 1,000 likes and over 800 shares on Facebook.
The victim too appeared in one of the short videos. She appeared distressed while explaining that, the thief pointed a knife at her then proceeded to snatch her smartphone and handbag.
However, the thief too refuted that he did not steal nor snatch the victim’s bag, saying that he did not know why the victim started to run in the first place.
According to New Straits Time, Gombak district police chief Assistant Commissioner Arifai Tarawe was present that day. He mentioned that the suspect suffered serious injuries on his leg.
“We seized a Yamaha Y15 motorcycle believed to have been used by the suspect to commit the crime. We also seized a sling bag and mobile phone from the suspect,” he added after saying that they had recorded the statement of the victim.
So the lesson here is, don’t do bad things cause karma may be late but it will never be absent.
