However, how many waterfalls do you know of, here in Malaysia? Especially ones that are permit free and safe?

Taking to X @yanaazmill, shares with us her own personalised list of waterfall trails that she has visited:
1. Sg. Gabai Waterfall, Hulu Langat
Description of the place: This isn't so much of a hike, more so of trail to a campsite.
2. Batu Bertenggek, Kerling
Description of the place: Hike difficulty is only about 2/10 with a hike time of around 20 minutes.
3. Antara Gapi, Serendah
Description of the place: Hike difficulty is a 4/10 with a hike time of around 30 minutes. There are inclining hills in this area.
4. Sg. Chiling, Kuala Kubu Bharu
Description of the place: This place is a fish sanctuary with an entrance fee of around RM3-5. Hike difficulty is a 2/10 with hike time of 30 minutes.
5, Sg. Kedondong, Batang Kali
Description of the place: It is in the midst of a heavy forest, quite hidden. Hike difficulty of 3.5/10 with hike time of 30-45 minutes. The place can serve as a camping site as well.
6. Taman Eko Rimba Kanching, Rawang
Description of the place: To enter this trail, there is an entrance fee of RM3 however there are 7 different levels of the waterfall. To go all the way up, it is a very steep hike with stairs. Difficulty is at a 5/10 with hike time of 30-45 minutes.
