The Peranakan culture which combines both the Chinese and Malay traditions supremely rooted within our society. Undoubtedly the Nyonya food itself is embedded in the memory of many people. Here is a quick and simple recipe to make Pandan Kuih Kosui at home.

Ingredients:
All-purpose flour (100g)
Tapioca flour (70g)
Fine sugar (125g)
30g pandan + 350ml water
Coconut shreds (70g)

Steps:
1. Add and mix all-purpose flour, tapioca flour, fine sugar, and pandan juice in a bowl. Filter the mixture to prevent any lumps.
2. Warm up the little teacups before adding the mixture.
3. Pour the mixture into the teacups until 70% full.

4. Equip a steamer and turn to high temperature. Steam for 20 minutes and open the cap every 5 minutes.
5. Steam fresh coconut shreds for 5 minutes.
6. Close the heat and put aside to cool. Serve with steamed coconut shreds once cooled.
