The quick actions of a vigilant cattle farmer resulted in the detention of four individuals last Saturday on Jalan Mempaga-Lebu, following a chase involving stolen cattle being transported in a car.
Superintendent Mohd Shahril Abdul Rahman, the Raub District Police Chief, reported that the incident began when the complainant was alerted by a friend to attend the Mempaga night market site urgently.
Upon arrival, the complainant discovered a Proton Wira Aeroback car parked at the side of the road. The inspection of the vehicle revealed two cattle, which the complainant identified as his own, stolen from the Krau 4 Farm based on distinctive markings on their ears.
