TW: Mentions of sexual assault
A TikTok user, a young woman, recently shared a series of distressing videos on the platform, recounting a harrowing experience where she was allegedly lured by her boyfriend to meet his mother, only to be allegedly raped by two of his friends.
The young woman claimed in a TikTok video that her boyfriend orchestrated the assault by texting her, saying his mother wanted to meet her and arranging to pick her up at 8:30 PM. Upon arrival at his home, she found it empty and was forcibly assaulted. The boyfriend purportedly hired the two friends to carry out the assault.
The distressed victim later reported the incident to the police, backed by the support of her parents, as explained in her video. Screenshots shared from her TikTok story portrayed her sense of helplessness during the assault, saying that she was no match against the two men. The alleged perpetrators, aged 19, are reported to be residing in Gombak.
Despite the distressing nature of her story, the victim's boyfriend has denied any involvement or responsibility for the assault. The series of TikTok videos quickly gained traction, sparking widespread outrage and condemnation among Malaysians over the appalling incident.
As of the time of writing, no statement has been released by the authorities regarding this incident.
