It is utterly disgusting to see people committing crimes during this critical time being. Happened yesterday (March 29) in Klang, a 44-year-old lady who was queuing up to buy face masks outside a pharmacy was snatched by thieves on a motorcycle.
It was reported in Sin Chew Daily that this crime happened at Taman Bayu Perdana, the victim was dragged to the ground when the snatch thief grabbed her bag. South Klang district police chief Assistant Commissioner, Shamsul Amar Ramli confirmed the case and mentioned that this case will be investigated under Article 395 of the Penal Code (gang robbery).
He disclosed that there were 2 motorcyclists who had helmets and face masks on were involved in this incident. One of them was riding the motorcycle while the other one snatched the bag of the victim. They fled the scene after they got the bag.
Shamsul too revealed that the number plate of the motorcycle is fake, according to the initial investigation. The victim of this crime fell to the ground, causing her left ankle, right neck, and head to be injured.
The incident was caught on the surveillance camera, which then went viral on social media.
