ICYMI: WATCH: Heartbreaking TikTok Video Shows Mother Delivering Devastating News To Son After Exam
A viral video of Colorado Children's Chorale in the US performing in Bahasa Melayu left many people in awe. Although the performance took place in April, the video gained popularity recently after choreographer Fairuz Fee Tauhid shared it on his Tiktok account.
Fairuz Fee Tauhid choreographed the energetic and fun performance for "Kira!", a composition penned by Malaysian musician Tracey Wong, who currently resides in Ontario, Canada. This delightful three-part treble choir piece, as described by Wong, pays homage to Malay folk melodies while interweaving local "counting" games and sage advice.

"It celebrates elders in my larger Malaysian community who impart life teachings to young people in a fun and accessible way," Wong said while expressing her gratitude for the recognition she received over the piece.
Well-known proverbs such as "sediakan payung sebelum hujan" (which figuratively means be well prepared for any eventualities) could be heard in the lyrics of the rendition, and Malaysians are relating to the composition.
"As a choral singer myself. I need and want to perform more choral pieces in Malay and some with more complex compositions", said Tiktok user @Tenoring in the comments section.
"Thank you Dr Tracy Wong for upholding Bahasa Melayu on the international stage," said @Sunny Nini.
