Local airlines have begun dropping their prices as Malaysians gear up for interstate travels, in an effort to attract more customers.
• Malaysia Airlines: one-way ticket prices as low as RM59 and up to 50% off their MH Holiday packages;
• Air Asia: one-way ticket prices as low as RM12
Malaysia Airlines, in particular, have recorded a 500% increase in domestic flight bookings, according to their CEO, Izaham Ismail. The same success has been recorded with Air Asia too, and the numbers are expected to increase in the following weeks.
If you're travelling via flight anytime soon, be sure to book your tickets early as they tend to be cheaper as last-minute bookings are often significantly pricier. Also, booking a flight via airlines apps is mostly hassle-free, so take advantage of that.
