A heartwarming post has recently gone viral on TikTok, capturing the attention of animal lovers across Malaysia. Posted by user @ssempire_, the video shows a woman sharing an unexpected and touching sight at the Shell petrol station in Setia Alam.
While most petrol stations typically offer basic facilities such as prayer rooms, toilets, benches, and rest areas for the convenience of travelers, this particular station has taken an extra step by building a dedicated home for stray cats.
Located in a corner of the station known as 'SH Setia Alam Primazone Enterprise', the large cat house was specially constructed to shelter the stray cats in the area. According to the woman who shared the video, the cats living there appear fluffy, healthy, and well-groomed, clear signs that they are being lovingly cared for by the Shell staff.
More than just a shelter, the cat house is spacious, offering ample room for the cats to sleep, play, and relax. The management has even provided a sufficient number of litter boxes to ensure the comfort and hygiene of all the feline residents.
Thoughtfully designed with good ventilation, the house is enclosed with mesh wiring, allowing fresh air to flow through and giving the cats a view of the outside world as they lounge comfortably inside.
"Masya-Allah, this is the first time I've seen a petrol station build such a big cat house. All the cats are fluffy, chubby, and super affectionate. Amazing! May their sustenance be blessed, and may this become an example for other petrol stations too," wrote the TikTok user in the caption.
The comments section of the video quickly filled with praise, especially from fellow cat lovers, who applauded Shell Setia Alam for its compassion and kindness towards stray animals. Many expressed hope that this initiative would inspire other businesses and petrol stations to take similar steps in caring for community animals.
In a world where strays are often overlooked, this small but meaningful gesture stands out as a beautiful reminder that a little kindness can go a long way and sometimes, it even goes viral.
