With regards to the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations this year, AirAsia will offer 11,400 fixed-price seats to Sabah and Sarawak! Flights to Sarawak will cost RM199 and to Sabah RM249 from Kuala Lumpur and Johor Bahru, respectively.
Travellers can start booking now up until the 30th April, for travels that take place between 19th to 21st April 2023 and 28th to 30th April 2023.
Previously, Malaysians who were planning to balik kampung during any festival celebration had to fork out a large sum of money just to afford travelling back home. Transport Minister Anthony Loke has urged other airlines to follow suit and provide cheaper rates for Malaysians to balik kampung.
